Women in Retail Leadership Summit

Jessica Cunning and Colleen Devanney, partners in the nationally recognized Vorys eControl group, appeared at the Women in Retail Leadership Summit on April 27 at the JW Marriott Miami Turnberry Resort & Spa. 

Jessica and Colleen joined Antigone Peyton, general counsel for Spanx, LLC., to explore how premium brands are responding to the new realities of digital commerce.  The conversation centered on the spotlight AI shines on pricing inconsistency and brands being forced to rationalize their seller base and reclaim control over how their brand shows up online.  Attendees learned about how Vorys eControl's  diagnoses the most damaging channel disruptions and deploys a coordinated legal, commercial and operational response.  The talk also focused on repositioning legal as a genuine business partner driving revenue, not just managing risk, and how that shift will lead to a more intentional distribution strategy.
