ICSC + U.S. Law Conference 2026
Jacinto Núñez, a partner in the Vorys Akron and Cleveland offices and a member of the firm's real estate practice, will participate in a mock negotiation at the ICSC + U.S. Law Conference on October 23 in Orlando, Florida.
The title of the session will be "Retail Turf Wars: Landlord Leverage vs Tenant Protections in Exclusive and Prohibited Use Provisions." This session will focus on the considerations that landlords and tenants must address when negotiating exclusive covenants and prohibited uses including the scope of the covenant/restriction, carve-outs thereto, and appropriate remedies for violations, including by rogue tenants.
