2026 Behavioral Health Compliance Conference 

Several attorneys from the Vorys Columbus office, representing the health care and litigation groups, spoke at The Ohio Council of Behavioral Health & Family Service Providers' 2026 Behavioral Health Compliance Conference in Lewis Center, Ohio on April 14 and 15. 

Liam Gruzs and Jordan Kulbarsh, members of the health care group, gave a presentation titled "Best Practices for Handling Payer Audits" on April 14.  Chris Ingram, a partner in the litigation group, also presented that afternoon, hosting a session titled "Cybersecurity & Data Breach Response."  Gruzs joined health care associate Nikkia Knudsen for the day's final presentation, titled "Confidentiality, HIPAA & CFR Part 2." 

On April 15, Suzanne Scrutton — chair of the Vorys health care group — joined Gruzs for a presentation titled "SB 138 ADAMH Board Contracting Changes."  The pair sat on the Board/Provider Contracting Panel that concluded the conference that afternoon.
