Overview
Matt is an associate in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the firm’s labor and employment group.
Matt has experience in a broad range of employment matters, including those arising under the Fair Labor Standards Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act and its amendments, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act and Title VII of the Civil Rights Act. Matt has additional experience handling traditional labor law matters.
Prior to graduating law school and joining Vorys, he worked with the Indian Child Welfare Act (ICWA) Clinic at the University of Minnesota.
Matt received his J.D. from the University of Minnesota Law School, where he served as a managing editor for The Minnesota Journal of Law & Inequality. He graduated summa cum laude with a B.A. in educational studies and psychology from Ursinus College.
