Overview

Britt is the firm’s chief legal talent & inclusion officer and is based in the Columbus office.  She leads the legal talent department, oversees the firm’s legal recruiting, professional development, diversity, inclusion and retention strategies to drive growth and engagement across the firm’s ten markets.  Her team provides dedicated resources to support attorney integration, professional development, mentorship and well-being in ways that advance their careers and elevate their experience at Vorys.  She works collaboratively with firm leaders to align Vorys’ business and talent strategy and serves in various leadership roles throughout the firm including as chair of the Mentorship & Engagement Committee; vice-chair of the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Committee; member of the firm’s Strategic Operations and Planning Committee and Hiring Committee; and as the firm’s Flexible Work Advisor.  She reports directly to the firm’s managing partner. 

Britt’s work in legal operations for the past 20 years is grounded in fostering an inclusive culture, building connections and developing talent to fuel growth and success within the law firm and its client relationships.  She has developed numerous programs to promote well-being, diversity, equity and inclusion within the legal profession and has enjoyed coaching lawyers over the years.  Outside of the firm, Britt is active in organizations focused on attorney professional development, diversity and inclusion and well-being.  She is the former co-chair of NALP’s Well-Being Steering Committee and previously served as vice-chair of Membership/Development for NALP’s Lawyer Professional Development Section, and as co-chair of the Section’s Diversity & Inclusion Mentoring Working Group.  She also served on the Diversity & Inclusion Committee for the Legal Marketing Association. 

Britt is certified in change management and adult mental health first aid and received her J.D. from the University of Colorado School of Law and her B.S. in marketing from the University of Colorado Leeds School of Business.
