Manfull to Become Vorys Akron Office Managing Partner
Vorys is pleased to announce that Ashley Manfull, a distinguished labor and employment attorney, will become the managing partner of the firm's Akron office on January 1, 2027.
Manfull will succeed Bret Treier, who will retire at the end of 2026 after leading the office for the past decade. She will be the third managing partner in the Akron office's 23-year history. To ensure a smooth transition, Manfull will assume the role of vice managing partner immediately.

Manfull has been with Vorys for more than 20 years, joining as an associate before advancing to of counsel and then partner. Her practice focuses on partnering with private and public-sector employers to provide strategic planning, general counsel, and litigation defense for a broad range of employment issues including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, FMLA, wage and hour and noncompetition matters.

The Vorys Akron office opened in 2004 and currently includes 18 attorneys who focus their practices on commercial and real estate, corporate, health care, intellectual property, labor and employment and litigation. The office was recognized as a 2026 "Best Law Firm" in 12 practice areas.
