Vorys Staff Among First Group Awarded E-Discovery Specialist Certifications

Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease is pleased to announce that Julie Brown, the firm’s litigation technology executive manager, and the firm's e-discovery project managers, Julie Carmona and Pamela Hutchins, are among the first group of e-discovery professionals to pass the Certified E-Discovery Specialists (CEDS) certification examination.  The CEDS credential is earned by individuals who pass a rigorous four-hour examination, which provides a tough and objective measure of mastery of the challenging field of e-discovery.

The certification program is administered by the Association of Certified E-Discovery Specialists (ACEDS), the premier membership organization of professionals in the field worldwide.  According to ACEDS, the credential is an assurance to employers, colleagues and clients that the CEDS-certified professional is serious about efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and risk reduction in all phases of e-discovery.
