Vorys Downtown Akron Office Relocates to Main Street
Vorys announced today that the firm’s Akron office has moved into new offices located on the 12th floor of Akron Centre Plaza in downtown Akron.
“Our firm’s commitment to the City of Akron and, more specifically, downtown Akron remains strong,” said Bret Treier, managing partner of the Vorys Akron office. “2022 marks our firm’s 19th year in this city, and we’re excited to celebrate our continued commitment to Akron with an upgrade to a more modern workspace.”
The Vorys Akron office has 25 attorneys and professional staff. It has been recognized as a Tier One “Best Law Firm” in Akron by 2022 U.S. News – Best Lawyers in six practice areas: banking and finance law, commercial litigation, corporate law, litigation - intellectual property, patent law, and trademark law.
“The COVID-19 pandemic accelerated the need for law firms to modernize both technology and workspaces,” said Treier. “This new space is a modern space for a modern law firm. It recognizes that the current and future of legal work is more collaborative and virtual. It will allow us to better integrate not only with our attorneys and clients who are working remotely but also with our colleagues across the firm’s seven other offices.”
