Smart Business Dealmakers’ Middle Market M&A Conference
Jake Derenthal, a partner in the Vorys Cleveland and Akron offices and a member of the firm's corporate group, will participate in a panel at Smart Business Dealmakers' Middle Market M&A Conference on May 13 in Cleveland, Ohio. The title of the panel will be "AI on the Buy-Side: How Technology Is Changing the Way Deals Get Done."
The panel will consider how, as AI becomes more embedded in business decision-making, acquirers are rethinking how deals are sourced, evaluated and executed. The session will examine how private equity firms, operators and advisors are using AI to streamline diligence, assess risk and identify opportunities, all while understanding where human judgment remains critical in complex transactions.
Jake will be joined by Lizabeth Roth, director at Copper Run; Jacob Stoller, partner at The Riverside Company; and Vin Zachariah, CEO of Ampica Energy Solutions. It will be moderated by Dave Jacob, managing partner at ScaleCo Capital.
