Ohio Auditor of State Medicaid Compliance Examinations: What to Expect and How to Prepare (Webinar)

Liam Gruzs, Jordan Kulbarsh and Melissa Moore, attorneys in the Vorys health care group, presented a webinar on February 25 as part of the Legal Insights for Behavioral Health Care series.  The title of the presentation was "Ohio Auditor of State Medicaid Compliance Examinations: What to Expect and How to Prepare." 

The webinar focused on changes made by the Ohio Auditor of State during 2025 and continuing changes during 2026.  Attendees gained insights on limiting financial exposure from a Medicaid compliance examination, including getting an overview of the compliance examination timeline, strategic best practices and recent trends in the Auditor of State's findings.
