Tom Thrash and Valerie Moore, patent agents in the Vorys Houston and Orange County offices, hosted a webinar on November 3, 2022, providing a brief overview of intellectual property law and patents, with focus upon patent agent and scientific advisor (SAPA) careers.  After a brief introduction to the patenting process, Tom and Valerie discussed the responsibilities of SAPAs within the patenting process.  They presented paths to becoming a SAPA, including additional programming available through Vorys for those interested in SAPA careers.
