2026 Ohio Bar Annual Meeting

Garrett Anderson, an associate in the Columbus office and member of the litigation group, moderated a panel at the Ohio Bar Annual Meeting on May 20 at the Ohio Statehouse.  The title of the panel was "Federal Branch Briefing, a Panel Discussion." 

The discussion provided the latest updates from the federal courts and discussed the importance of civics education, judicial independence and what attorneys can all be doing to promote trust and confidence in the judicial branch.  Panelists included the Honorable Jeffrey S. Sutton, chief judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit; the Honorable Sarah D. Morrison, chief judge of the United States District Court for the Southern District of Ohio; and the Honorable Patricia A. Gaughan, senior judge of the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.
