2026 ACREL Mid-Year Conference

Jacinto Núñez, a partner in the Vorys Cleveland and Akron offices and a member of the firm's real estate practice, spoke at the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL) Mid-Year Conference at the Hyatt Regency in Huntington Beach, CA on March 27.  The title of his presentation was "Making The Mix Work." 

The presentation focused on best practices for structuring, financing and operating mixed-use, mixed-ownership development, from selecting the right legal framework (master/sub condominiums, REAs, planned communities) to building governance, cost allocation and dispute resolution systems that harmonize diverse uses.  Attendees learned about how lenders underwrite these projects and how developers can position deals for approval.
