2025 Ohio Housing Conference 

Sean Byrne, of counsel in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the firm's tax and probate group, participated in a panel at the 2025 Ohio Housing Conference on November 12, 2025. 

The title of the panel was "Creative Housing Development Tools: Opportunity Zones 2.0," which provided a high-level look at opportunity zones and investing around them, including strategies for maximized impact, mapping and distressed criteria. 

Shaun was joined on the panel by Sam Young, HUB director for the Economic Market Analysis Division for the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development; Jonathan Tower, founder and CEO of Arctaris Impact Investors and Patrick Conley, business incentives administrator for the Ohio Department of Development.
