Overview

Brian is the firm’s chief information officer and is based in the Columbus office.  He is responsible for the firm’s Information Management organization that provides resources necessary to support the information, risk management, process improvement, change management and technical needs of the firm.  He is also responsible for other departments including, security, library, records, conflicts, information technology, practice technology and the project management office.  Brian reports directly to the firm’s managing partner.

Brian has worked in the Information Technology field for over 35 years.  With experience ranging from software developer to change practitioner to IT Director, Brian brings a broad leadership and technology background to his current position of Chief Information Officer.

Brian currently serves as a member of the firm’s Information Governance and Innovation and Technology committees, and is a past member of the LegalSEC Steering Committee for the International Legal Technology Association (ILTA).  He is a current member of the ILTA Talent Council and a member of the Steering Committee for the Law Firm Information Governance Symposium.

Brian graduated from Miami University with a bachelor’s of applied science (BAAS) in systems analysis.
