Overview

Graham is an associate in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the firm’s intellectual property (IP) group.  He advises clients across the full life cycle of IP matters, including patent and trademark clearance, prosecution, enforcement, global portfolio management and strategic IP counseling.  His practice also includes litigation and dispute resolution, with experience in UDRP disputes, inter partes review (IPR) proceedings and litigation support.

He has experience with intellectual property litigation and dispute resolution matters, including UDRP disputes, inter partes review proceedings and litigation support, and assists clients with enforcement strategy involving patents, trademarks and other IP rights.

Graham also has experience with transactional and commercial matters involving intellectual property, including licensing, technology transfers and other IP-focused agreements.  He regularly supports M&A transactions and intellectual property due diligence, including the assessment of IP assets and related risks, and has experience preparing and drafting commercial and construction agreements and related strategic counseling.

He has worked with clients across a broad range of technologies and industries, including mechanical and medical devices, materials and manufacturing technologies, autonomous and smart control systems, software, artificial intelligence, electronics, integrated circuit design, lighting systems, structural technologies and energy-related systems, including oil and gas and heat transfer technologies.

Graham is admitted to practice before the USPTO.  He received his J.D. from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law, where he served as managing editor of the IP Theory law journal and worked at the IU Maurer IP Clinic, helping small entities prosecute patents.  He graduated magna cum laude from the University of Kentucky with a B.S. in mechanical engineering.
