Bar & Court Admissions
Sam is an associate in the Vorys Pittsburgh office and a member of the finance, energy and real estate group. He concentrates his practice in the area of oil and gas and routinely counsels clients with respect to title, leasing and transactional matters. Sam has extensive experience preparing drilling, acquisition and division order title opinions for exploration and production clients in the Marcellus and Utica shale plays.
Prior to joining the firm, Sam served as senior counsel in the Pittsburgh office of a national law firm specializing in oil and gas title and energy-related litigation
Sam received his J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law, where he was managing editor for The Ohio State Journal on Dispute Resolution, and his B.A. cum laude from Bowdoin College.
