Tangeman Selected for Admission to American College of Real Estate Lawyers

Vorys is pleased to announce that Jill Tangeman, a partner in the firm’s Columbus office, has been selected for admission to the American College of Real Estate Lawyers (ACREL).  Admission to ACREL occurs after a formal invitation, following an in-depth screening process and the recommendation and approval by the organization’s board of governors.

According to ACREL, the organization is “the select national association of preeminent commercial real estate lawyers … elected to fellowship for their outstanding legal ability, experience and high standards of professional and ethical conduct in the practice of real estate law.”

Tangeman’s practice focuses on commercial real estate with an emphasis on zoning, land use regulation and developer representation.  She has significant experience assisting clients in the annexation, zoning and entitlement of large mixed-use developments, including working on numerous master associations and golf course resort communities.  She is also a member of the firm’s data center practice and has assisted clients with zoning, entitlement and permitting issues in the development of dozens of data centers, including hyperscale.

Tangeman speaks frequently at conferences and seminars on planned unit developments, land use, subdivision of land, variances, conditional uses and other topics related to commercial real estate law.
