Richardson Appointed to Serve as Special Justice to Kentucky Supreme Court

Florence,
Kentucky, has been appointed by Governor Ernie Fletcher to serve as a Special Justice to the Kentucky Supreme Court.

Richardson has been appointed to consider four cases pending before the court.

As a member of the litigation practice group

Richardson specializes in civil litigation and white collar criminal defense work. His practice encompasses commercial, employment, construction, accounting malpractice, and intellectual property matters. He represents clients in both federal and state courts at the trial and appellate levels and handles complex commercial matters, including defense of class actions and shareholder derivative suits.  He has also argued before the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit and Federal Circuit. 

Richardson is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association, the Cincinnati Bar Association, and the Northern Kentucky Chamber of Commerce. He has presented seminars regarding the duties of design professionals in construction cases, and the damages available to plaintiffs against architects and engineers in construction cases.

He received his J.D. from the University of Cincinnati College of Law, where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and received his B.A. summa cum laude from

Thomas
Moore
College.
