2026 TIA Capital Ideas Conference
Kent Britt, a partner in the Vorys Cincinnati office and the head of the firm's transportation law subgroup, will speak at the 2026 TIA Capital Ideas Conference at the JW Marriott Desert Ridge in Phoenix, AZ on April 17. He will appear as part of a panel titled "What Do I Do!? Practical Steps to Avoid Claims and Mitigate Risk."
The session will focus on brokers' need to be ready for claims at any time and will feature real-world lessons and practical strategies for avoiding claims or minimizing damages when issues arise. The presenters will walk through policies and approaches regarding stolen and towed loads, carrier insurance challenges and more. Kent will be joined by Jim Sanders, the corporation operations director for MegaCorp Logistics, and Tony Uhrina, the president of Premier Global Transportation, LLC.
