Overview
Anthony Cruz is an associate in the Vorys Houston office and a member of the litigation group.
He has experience in civil litigation through all stages, including discovery, drafting and arguing motions, fact and expert witness depositions, motion practice and appellate briefing. He has appeared before state and federal courts.
Anthony has represented clients in matters pertaining to general liability, wrongful death, breach of contract, bill of review, labor and employment issues, and more. He has represented clients in industries including commercial trucking, construction, insurance, transportation and more.
Anthony received his J.D., cum laude, from the South Texas College of Law Houston, where he served as assistant articles editor for the South Texas Law Review and a member of the Hispanic Journal of Law and Policy. During law school, Anthony was a judicial extern for the Honorable Judge Vanessa J. Gilmore for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas. He received his B.A from The University of Texas at Austin.
Anthony is a proficient speaker of Spanish.
