Renewable and Alternative Energy
As demand for energy increases, the need for alternative energy sources has become more significant. We are privileged to work for clients at the forefront of the alternative energy industry, assisting with projects on the cutting edge of alternative energy production, such as wind farms, waste energy (including scrap tires and bio-mass), ethanol plants, fuel cells, landfill and industrial gas, industrial co-generation, and coke oven gas.
We are often asked to provide counsel on regulatory and business matters involving power siting and local zoning issues, the availability of renewable energy credits (RECs), environmental permitting, power grid interconnections locally and through the Regional Transmission Organization, and commercial contracting issues.
