Mike is a scientific advisor to the technology and intellectual property group in the Vorys Houston office. He has several years of experience with intellectual property. Prior to Vorys, he worked at a boutique law firm in Houston, TX, writing and prosecuting patent applications. Mike specializes in mechanical arts, including mechanical & process design, heat transfer, thermodynamics, and instrumentation as applied to oil and gas, medical devices, robotics, and transportation, as examples. He previously worked for Applied Research Associates and for Honeywell as a senior engineer and principal investigator for robotics, renewable energy, energy conversion, and polymers product and process R&D.
Mike received his PhD in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology. He received his M.S. in mechanical engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology and B.S. in engineering from Oral Roberts University.
