Russell found that STRONGER’s reports on Ohio's oil and gas program illustrate why Ohio’s combination of a sensible regulatory program and a proactive, professional regulatory agency have been successful. He also said STRONGER’s report stated that an estimated 80,000 wells have been hydraulically fractured in Ohio without a single instance of related groundwater contamination.
