Overview

Jacinto is a partner in the Vorys Akron office and a member of the finance, energy and real estate group.  He advises clients on many aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including acquiring and selling real estate; ground, retail, industrial and office leasing; development; financing; oil and gas leasing and title; and other real estate matters.  In addition to his general real estate practice, Jacinto is actively involved in the firm’s economic development incentives practice, representing developers, operating businesses and political subdivisions in economic development matters.  He has a wealth of experience assisting businesses in securing local and state economic development incentives to support expansion and new construction projects.  Jacinto also devotes a portion of his practice to real property tax valuation matters in Ohio and Florida.

  • Representing a national retailer in a sale-leaseback transaction involving 26 properties
  • Representing a national retailer in the sale of dozens of retail locations
  • Representing lenders in connection with financing power generation plants
  • Representing borrowers in connection with financing power generation plants
  • Representing regional and local shopping center developers in Ohio in hundreds of leasing, development, finance and economic incentive matters
  • Represent a developer to address complex coal and mineral severances, easement issues and other title matters
  • Representing manufacturers in acquisition and development of manufacturing facilities
  • Representing an international retailer in United States leasing matters
  • Representing national retailers in leasing space from national and regional landlords
  • Representing an international logistics company in leasing matters
  • Representing a regional restaurant chain in ground leases and acquisitions
  • Representing national fraternities in leasing, development and real estate finance matters
  • Representing a national life insurance company in over 50 loan transactions
  • Representing a private equity firm in the purchase and sale of approximately 250 communication tower facilities

Jacinto is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and serves as a vice-president of the Ohio State Bar Association Real Property Section Council.

Jacinto received his J.D. magna cum laude from the University of Akron School of Law, where he was a citations editor and an assistant editor of the Akron Law Review.  He also earned a master’s of music education and a master’s of music performance from the University of Akron.  He received his B.M. from the University of Rochester Eastman School of Music.
