Overview

Meg is a partner in the Vorys Cleveland office and a member of the litigation group.  She has more than 30 years of experience in general civil litigation.  Meg has significant experience representing Ohio employers in all aspects of workers’ compensation law, including administrative hearings before the Industrial Commission.  She also has extensive experience in Ohio state courts representing employers in jury trials and mediations involving appeals from Industrial Commission proceedings.  Meg has significant experience defending asbestos and other occupational exposure claims.  She is well versed in analyzing medical records and historical documents to help her clients assess and manage claims from beginning to end.  Meg has extensive experience with expert and non-expert witness depositions.  She represents employers in state and federal court in cases involving intentional tort, retaliatory discharge and unemployment.  Meg also counsels clients on the Family Medical Leave Act (FMLA), the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Medicare Secondary Payor Act.

Meg received her J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and her A.B. from Miami University.
