Vorys is pleased to announce that the firm has pledged its commitment to the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity’s (LCLD) Leaders at the Front Initiative.

Vorys has been included on the 2022 BTI Client Service A-Team list. The ranking is limited solely to law firms considered by clients to deliver the absolute best levels of client service.

Vorys has been recognized as one of the top gay-friendly workplaces in the U.S. for the 14th year in a row in the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Corporate Equality Index (CEI).  For the fifth year in a row, the firm received a perfect score of 100 in the CEI, which is regarded as nation’s foremost benchmarking survey and report measuring corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ+ workplace equality.  Vorys was also named a 2022 “Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality.”

Vorys announced today that the firm has earned the Mansfield Rule 4.0 Certification.  To become “Mansfield Certified,” participating firms are asked to affirmatively consider at least 30% historically underrepresented lawyers  - including women, lawyers of color, LGBTQ+ lawyers, and lawyers with disabilities - when making decisions on leadership and governance positions (including firm management roles and certain committee roles), formal pitch opportunities, senior associate and lateral partner openings, and equity partnership promotions.

One hundred and sixteen lawyers from Vorys were recently selected by their peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America^® 2022 edition. In addition, 34 Vorys attorneys were named to the 2022 Best Lawyers in America “Ones to Watch” list.

Vorys has landed at the top of Unicourt’s TrueLaw Litigation index.

Vorys is pleased to announce that the firm has been named a 2021 WILEF Gold Standard firm. The Women in Law Empowerment Forum (WILEF) Gold Standard Certification is a key metric for assessing progress toward achieving greater gender equity in large law firms. 

Vorys is pleased to announce that our firm has committed to the Mansfield Rule 5.0, which aims to close the gap between underrepresented groups of attorneys in leadership roles at law firms.

Vorys announced today that experienced litigator Adam Hamburg joined the firm’s California office as a partner. His practice focuses on high-stakes litigation in both federal and state courts.
