Vorys Recognized in the Human Rights Campaign’s Corporate Equality Index for Seventh Straight Year

Vorys has been recognized as one of the top gay-friendly workplaces in central Ohio for the seventh year in a row by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC).  The firm received an equality score of 80 for having non-discrimination policies and offering benefits to non-married partners, among other criteria.  Only five other central Ohio businesses received scores higher than Vorys. In addition, the firm was one of only five Ohio-based law firms listed in the rankings.

Each fall, HRC releases the Corporate Equality Index report (CEI).  The CEI provides an in-depth analysis and rating of U.S. employers and their policies and practices pertinent to lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender employees.  The CEI rates companies on 40 specific policies and practices.
