Britt Quoted in Cincinnati Business Courier Story Regarding Hamilton County Foreclosure Case

Kent Britt, a partner in the Vorys Cincinnati office, was quoted in a Cincinnati Business Courier story titled “Tower Place Mall headed to auction block?”  According to the story, a Cincinnati mall and an adjacent parking garage are the subject of a foreclosure dispute in Hamilton County Common Pleas Court.  The story states:

“Until the foreclosure matter is resolved, Lasky and the other business partners still own the garage and a leasehold interest in the mall. The city of Cincinnati owns the land under the mall and will own the mall itself at the end of the city’s long-term lease for the property.

Lasky couldn’t be reached for comment. But a lawyer representing the owners of the garage and mall said there are still many different ways the dispute could be resolved.

‘One possibility is that the current owners maintain ownership,’ said Kent Britt, a partner in Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP’s Cincinnati office. ‘It’s just very difficult to predict what might happen.’”
