Sarah Boudouris, an associate in the Vorys Columbus office, was recently profiled in the Columbus Jewish News. The profile story highlighted how Sarah got into privacy and data security law.
The story states:
“‘I started working on a big lawsuit that involved a data breach, and then from there, I got more involved on the retailer privacy side and data security, more in an advisory role, helping with clients’ programs,’ she said.
Working in data privacy ‘wasn’t really on my radar as a law student,’ she said, adding it’s a good field for younger attorneys to enter.
‘These regulations are extremely new, and so you’re really at the ground floor and you become valuable in providing real guidance,’ she said. ‘It gave me some in-depth experience and a perspective from our client’s side.’
Boudouris said the most rewarding part of her career is working with people, whether it’s solving their litigation problems or preventing data privacy issues in their business.
‘We’re problem-solvers and that can be extremely satisfying,’ she said.”
