‘Vorys at Work’ to Provide Education Resources to HR Pros

Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP announced today that the firm has launched an educational platform – Vorys at Work – to provide important updates and training for HR professionals and in-house counsel on labor and employment law trends, developments, court decisions and legislative changes from across the U.S.

“Federal, state and local employment laws are constantly changing. At Vorys, we stay on top of these developments and routinely advise our clients on both these changes in the law and also on developing trends related to workplace issues” said Mark Knueve, chair of the Vorys labor and employment group. “Through the Vorys at Work platform, we will provide additional updates and insights to our clients on these important topics through alerts, webinars, podcast episodes and in-person seminars and events. We want to ensure that our clients can be confident that their policies and day-to-day decisions are consistent with the law.”

The Vorys labor and employment team, which consists of more than 40 attorneys, advises and assists clients in a vast array of labor and employment matters across the country. Vorys attorneys defend clients in federal and state courts and administrative proceedings against all kinds of labor and employment claims, ranging from individual lawsuits under statutes like the Americans with Disabilities Act, to complex, high-risk class actions asserting wage and hour or discrimination claims. The team regularly provides education, training, and counseling to companies and managers to help prevent employee relations problems. The group represents clients in union organizing campaigns and negotiating collective bargaining agreements. Vorys employee benefits attorneys create, implement, and amend employee plans and represent clients when litigation addresses those plans.
