Akron Attorney One of Only 12 Ohio Lawyers Elected to American College of Mortgage Attorneys

Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP is pleased to announce that Jay P. Porter, of counsel in the Vorys Akron office, has been elected to the

American
College of Mortgage Attorneys. He is one of only 12 attorneys in

Ohio admitted to this exclusive group whose members have substantial expertise in real estate mortgage lending and related fields of law.

The ACMA maintains an integrated group of lawyers from each state who are highly skilled and experienced in the preparation of real estate mortgages and lending transactions secured by real estate. Fellowship in the ACMA can only be achieved by internal nomination and there are only 400 attorneys in the country admitted to this group.

Porter is a member of the Vorys commercial and real estate group and focuses his practice on real estate, finance and general business. He is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers as well as the
Ohio
State,

Akron and Cleveland Bar Associations.

Porter received his J.D. from The College of William and Mary Marshall-Wythe School of Law and his B.A. from

Grove City
