Economic Development 411

Vorys partner Scott Ziance was a speaker at the Economic Development 411 program, hosted by Columbus 2020 on December 6. His presentation was titled Incentives; The Basics.

Mr. Ziance discussed the following topics:

• Best practices that communities around the state use to leverage economic development incentives to attract and retain jobs
• Rules and guidelines for many of the economic incentives that are available for communities
• Real world case studies of successes and failures that communities have encountered when providing economic development incentives.
