2012 Ohio Safety Congress and Expo

Vorys partner Tom Crookes participated in the Ohio Bureau of Workers’ Compensation 2012 Ohio Safety Congress and Expo on March 28. He provided two sessions entitled, The Regulated Workplace: Addressing Issues of the Sick, Injured and Disabled Worker, Parts 1 & 2.

Session One discussed:

• An overview of federal and state laws that impact workers who are sick, injured, disabled or have a serious health condition and recent updates in these laws.
• The relationship between the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family and Medical Leave Act and Ohio's workers’ compensation laws

Session Two provided a more in-depth overview of Session One.
