Why Preparing for LIBOR Cessation Now is Critical Webinar

Vorys attorneys Nici Workman, Kim Schaefer and Zach Brumfield hosted a webinar on preparing for LIBOR cessation on December 31, 2021. Although many banks planned to focus on LIBOR in 2020, they found themselves pre-occupied with COVID-19, PPP and the economic impacts of everything else 2020 had to offer. This webinar discussed key dates and milestones relating to LIBOR cessation and regulatory risks for banks who are not prepared to cease making LIBOR loans by the end of 2021. Additionally, hosts provided an analysis of late November announcements by the Ice Benchmark Association (the administrator of LIBOR), the Fed, the OCC, FDIC, ARRC and others regarding LIBOR cessation. Time was left at the end of presentation for questions and discussion.
