Smith Selected for the FDCC Ladder Down Cleveland Class of 2023
Michelle Smith, associate in the Vorys Cleveland office, was selected to join the FDCC Ladder Down Cleveland Class of 2023. According to Ladder Down, the organization is a year-long program that provides direct training and career development through a combination of coaches, sponsors and participants to empower women lawyers in three critical areas: leadership, business development and mentoring.
Smith is a member of the finance, energy and real estate group and she represents lenders in a wide range of transactions, including syndicated and single bank asset-based facilities, commercial loans, subordinated debt financings, and workouts and restructurings. She received her J.D. summa cum laude from the Cleveland State University Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. Additionally, she received her M.B.A. and her M.A. from the University of Akron, and her B.S. magna cum laude from Austin Peay State University.
