Vorys Attorneys Selected as 2012 Texas Rising Stars
Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease is pleased to announce that Tiffany Bingham Briscoe, Latosha Lewis Payne and Joseph Schreiber have been named 2012 Texas Rising Stars by Super Lawyers magazine. Rising Stars are chosen by their peers as being among the most recognizable up-and-coming lawyers in Texas.
Briscoe is an associate in the litigation group. She specializes in litigation and trial work in premises liability, products liability and employee wrongful death cases. Briscoe also handles commercial litigation matters, including the representation of financial and lending institutions. She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.A. summa cum laude from Xavier University.
Payne is of counsel in the litigation group. Her civil litigation practice focuses on traditional environmental litigation claims, as well as toxic torts, complex mass torts, product liability and wrongful death actions. Payne received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and her B.A. from Tulane University.
Schreiber is associate in the litigation group. He has significant experience in toxic and mass torts litigation, including claims for personal injury due to asbestos and chemical exposure. He also has commercial litigation experience, including breach of contract, copyright litigation, and construction litigation. Schreiber received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and his B.A. from Macalester College.
