Vorys Attorneys Named Texas Rising Stars

Vorys, Sater, Seymour and Pease LLP is pleased to announce that Tiffany Bingham Briscoe, Joseph M. Schreiber and Latosha Lewis Payne have been named 2011 Texas Rising Stars by Super Lawyers magazine.  Rising Stars represent those attorneys less than 40 years of age or with less than ten years of practice, and are chosen by their peers as being among the most recognizable up-and-coming lawyers in Texas.

Ms. Bingham Briscoe is an associate in the litigation group.  She specializes in litigation and trial work in premises liability, products liability, and employee wrongful death cases.  Briscoe also handles commercial litigation matters, including the representation of financial and lending institutions.  She received her J.D. from Harvard Law School and her B.A. summa cum laude from Xavier University.

Mr. Schreiber is also an associate in the litigation group.  He has significant experience in toxic and mass torts litigation, including claims for personal injury due to asbestos and chemical exposure.  He also has commercial litigation experience, including breach of contract, copyright litigation, and construction litigation.  He received his J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and his B.A. from Macalester College.

Ms. Lewis Payne is of counsel in the litigation group.  Her civil litigation practice focuses on traditional environmental litigation claims, as well as toxic torts, complex mass torts, premises and product liability, and wrongful death actions.  She received her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law and her B.A. from Tulane University.
