Bresnahan Selected to Serve on the National Judicial Colleges’ Board of Trustees

Vorys is pleased to announce that Pamela A. Bresnahan has been selected to serve on the Board of Trustees for the National Judicial College (NJC).  Ms. Bresnahan is a partner and the chair of the litigation group in the Vorys Washington, D.C. office.  The NJC is known as the nation’s premier judicial education institution. The NJC pursues its mission of making the world a more just place by educating and inspiring its judiciary with the support of individuals and organizations dedicated to preserving and improving the rule of law.  The NJC Board of Trustees sets policy, fosters a climate of excellence, promotes the development of innovative judicial education programs and provides leadership in achieving the NJC’s mission. Ms. Bresnahan is one of 21 NJC trustees. The trustees come from diverse fields encompassing the law and the judiciary, as well as business and corporate areas.

As a part of her legal practice, Ms. Bresnahan provides legal counsel to lawyers, financial institutions, broker/dealers, financial professionals, directors and officers, technology professionals, fiduciaries, insurers, and others on professional responsibility and professional liability.  Ms. Bresnahan is also very involved in the legal profession in other ways.  She is the Chair-Elect of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy’s Board of Trustees.  In addition, she served in the important role of Chair of the American Bar Association’s Standing Committee on the Federal Judiciary from 2017-2018.   Ms. Bresnahan is also a member of the American College of Trial Lawyers.
