Overview
Malia is a veteran brand protection expert with more than 20 years of industry experience. She works with Vorys eControl.
Throughout her career, Malia has provided assistance and counseling to corporate clients and brands. Her experience includes establishing strong global brand protection and enforcement programs to combat trademark issues, unauthorized sales, counterfeiting, piracy and other related fraud that risk the integrity and reputation of the brand. In addition, she has helped companies with acquisitions, divestitures and integrations within the online brand protection space.
Malia assists Vorys eControl and its clients in a variety of important areas, including designing comprehensive programs to address online intellectual property (IP) infringements across marketplaces, websites, social media platforms and other channels. She also assists clients with anti-counterfeiting efforts.
Malia is a frequent speaker at industry and customer events on topics relating to brand protection and enforcement strategies.
She is a member of the International Trademark Association (INTA) and serves as the subcommittee chair of Building Bridges.
Prior to joining Vorys eControl, Malia was the chief product officer at Corsearch, where she drove innovation and product expansion to support brands in establishing and protecting their IP.
