Laura M. Gómez Duarte

Laura is an associate in the Houston office and a member of the labor and employment group.  Prior to joining Vorys, she served as a judicial extern for the Honorable Vanessa Gilmore, United States Southern District of Texas, the Honorable Alfred Bennett, United States Southern District of Texas and the Honorable Christine Weems, Harris County District Court. 

Laura received her J.D. cum laude from the University of Houston Law Center, where she was inducted into The Order of the Barristers and served as a senior articles editor on the Houston Law Review.  She graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with a dual major of international relations and Latin American studies.
