Ohio Council of Behavioral Health & Family Services Providers’ Annual Conference

Vorys attorneys Paul Coval and Melissa Mitchell  presented at the Ohio Council of Behavioral Health & Family Services Providers’ Annual Conference on October 29, 2009. 

Mr. Coval discussed the Federal False Claims Act and its recent amendments, as well as the Recovery Audit Contractor program.

Ms. Mitchell reviewed the major provisions that changed HIPAA in the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act as well as strategies for provider compliance.
