Development Issues in the Major Shale Plays

Vorys partner Jonathan Airey participated in a panel discussion regarding "State Oil and Gas Conservation Agency Issues" at the Special Institute on Development Issues in the Major Shale Plays on December 6.  This program explored in depth the legal and technical challenges facing the oil and gas industry in the development of major shale plays throughout the United States. Special emphasis was given to air quality, water quality and water consumption issues that are unique to natural gas production from shales.
