Sharon K. Wendell
Sharon Wendell is an associate in the Vorys' Houston office and a member of the litigation group. Her practice focuses on personal injury litigation, defense of claims alleging exposure to benzene, STET, butadiene and asbestos. She has experience litigating matters of mass tort and products liability, as well as oil and gas, patent and trademark prosecution, workers' compensation and bankruptcy, and has assisted in the defense of various large corporations.
Career highlights include:
- Assisted with prosecution and marketing of patent for deepwater containment unit in Washington D.C. and International oil and fabrication companies.
- Lead counsel to a major chemical company in workers' compensation trial
- Representing a major chemical company in a mesothelioma premises liability case
- Representing a major oil corporation in a benzene myelodysplastic syndrome (MDS) and myelogenous leukemia (AML) wrongful death case
- Serving as lead associate in a wrongful death case alleging vinyl chloride exposure as the cause of plaintiff’s angiosarcoma
Sharon Wendell is admitted to practice in the State of Texas and State of Oklahoma.
Sharon Wendell received her J.D. from South Texas College of Law. She received her B.A. from The Ohio State University.
