Kelsey M. Toulouse
Ms. Toulouse is an associate in the Vorys Cleveland office and a member of the commercial and real estate practice group. Her practice focuses primarily on the negotiation and documentation or restructuring of complex commercial loan transactions, workouts, creditors’ rights in and out of bankruptcy, and UCC Article 9. Ms. Toulouse has also advised and represented a wide variety of both financial institutions and corporate clients on issues related to real property lease and purchase and common carrier law questions.
Her notable experience includes:
- Working in-house for a technology company in Montana reviewing and modifying contracts and drafting data retention policies
- Developing a coordinated community response to domestic violence as a community organizer under AmeriCorps VISTA
- Serving as a Victim-Witness advocate with the Gallatin County Attorneys Office assisting victims of felony property crimes
Ms. Toulouse is a member of the Federal Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association, and the Akron Bar Association. She received her J.D. with honors from the University of Washington School of Law, and her B.A. magna cum laude from Baldwin-Wallace College.
