Brooke L. Struthers

Ms. Struthers is a workers’ compensation paralegal in the Vorys Columbus office.  She is highly involved in the administrative handling of workers’ compensation issues for large corporations, including the preparation of documents for filing with the Bureau of Workers’ Compensation, settlement analyses, medical summaries and background letters for independent medical examinations as well as summarizing claims and recommending a defense strategy.

Before joining Vorys Ms. Struthers worked as an Workers’ Compensation Account Executive for a Third Party Administrator from 1978 to 1987.

Ms. Struthers is a past member of the Paralegal Association of Central Ohio and an Associate Member of the Columbus Bar Association where she served on several committees.  Through the firm, she is involved with the Central Ohio Self-Insurers Association and regularly attends meetings and seminars.

Ms. Struthers has been a presenter at various seminars for the Paralegal Association of Central Ohio and PESI seminars on Workers’ Compensation Basics and has additionally assisted in an instruction course on Workers’ Compensation for the Capital University Law School Paralegal Program.
