Our attorneys work with many different energy providers who are on the cutting edge of technologically advanced alternative energy production, such as wind farms, waste energy (including scrap tires and bio-mass), ethanol plants, fuel cells, landfill and industrial gas, industrial co-generation, and coke oven gas. 

We assist our alternative energy clients with power siting and local zoning issues, environmental permitting, power grid interconnections locally and through the Regional Transmission Organization, and commercial contracting issues.

Our representative engagements in this area include, among other matters, negotiating contracts and providing assistance in obtaining permits for a major wind farm, representing a client in obtaining environmental and regulatory permits for a bio-waste generation unit, and providing counsel on environmental and regulatory permits for landfill generators and industrial waste gas generators.
