Our firm assists providers in health care operations, including advising institutions and their medical staffs and boards on governance issues. Our attorneys represent hospitals and physicians in matters such as medical staff bylaws, rules and regulations, institutional review boards, Joint Commission accreditation, advance directives, medical records, bioethics, and other operational issues. We also have assisted in creating and implementing professional liability self-insurance plans.
Medical Staff Relations
We represent health care clients in all matters arising under medical staff bylaws, including physician peer reviews, credentialing, clinical competency reviews, and other hospital/medical staff relationship issues. We do so in administrative and court settings and assist clients in avoidance of disputes through effective early intervention and counseling.
