Michael A. Cline
Mr. Cline is a partner in the Vorys Columbus office where he practices in the areas of corporate and securities law. His practice focuses on assisting public and private companies with their responsibilities under the securities laws and representing clients in mergers and acquisitions and venture capital transactions.
Mr. Cline is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association.
Mr. Cline has spoken on issues relating to compliance with the securities laws, including the issuance of securities in a public offering and executive compensation disclosure.
Mr. Cline received his J.D. magna cum laude from The University of Toledo College of Law and his B.A. cum laude from the University of Toledo.
Before joining Vorys, Mr. Cline was a staff attorney and branch chief at the United States Securities and Exchange Commission.
