Anthony D. Weis
Mr. Weis is a partner in the Vorys Columbus office and a member of the corporate and finance practice group. He represents and advises public and privately held corporations and financial institutions on a broad range of legal matters, including mergers, acquisitions and divestitures, joint ventures and strategic alliances, private placements and public offerings of securities, compliance with Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting obligations, regulatory compliance matters, organization of corporations and limited liability companies, and corporate governance and other general corporate matters.
Mr. Weis is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association.
Mr. Weis received his J.D. summa cum laude from The Ohio State University Michael E. Moritz College of Law where he was a member of the Order of the Coif and was a member and Managing Editor of the Ohio State Law Journal. Mr. Weis received his B.S.B.A summa cum laude from Bowling Green State University.
